Columbus Day...in other words, no school.

I love my kids.

But when they're home from school, the bickering and teasing and fighting is annoying.

All I hear is nonstop fighting.  All.  Day.  Long.

"MOM, he yelled in my ear!"

"MOM, she won't get off my bed!"

"MOM, he won't stop staring at me!"

Add my nephew Aidan to the mix, like we did today, and one against one becomes two against one.

My kids, generally mortal enemies, become a team of jerks, tormenting the visitor.

Can't we all just get along?

...or at the very least learn to ignore each other?

Because Mama is about to lose her f'en mind.

Why can't they always just smile and be happy?

Oh, yeah, and there's no school tomorrow either.
